The U.S. exports about one-third of its recycling, and nearly half has been going to China for decades. New China policies demand cleaner materials. U.S. recycling is contaminated with too many non-recyclable materials to be accepted.
Precision Design created an outreach campaign for Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Management Authority and Republic, Inc. to raise awareness of this issue and spread the message throughout Contra Costa County: Keep your recyclables clean!
