Recycling: Imagination & Action

recycling-imagination and actionAll it takes to save money and give the planet a break are imagination and action. Stretch the dollars and cents you spend on food and other products by reusing their containers whenever possible. Make an Earth Day resolution to Reuse & then Recycle.

Think about all the creative ways you can extend the life of recyclables accepted in your pickup program. For example, reuse glass jars with lids for leftovers and bulk foods, to organize hobbies…you get the idea!

Shrink the waste of natural resources by reusing containers. Then imagine the reuse options for recyclables you usually add to your garbage (which are NOT accepted in your pickup program) – such as packing peanuts (Styrofoam™*).

Reuse & Revive to Keep Peanuts Alive
Save your packing peanuts. Then deliver them to retailers and shippers in your community who welcome clean reusable peanuts to cushion merchandise they pack and ship around the world. Keep a stash of peanuts on hand (along with cardboard boxes) to reuse whenever you need to ship or haul around anything that would appreciate a protective cushion. Then, spread your brilliant reuse ideas to every earth-conscious person you know!
