Jane Millan
Art Director & Project Manager

Jane has been a graphic designer, typographer, illustrator and fine-artist since 1985. Before establishing Precision Design a decade ago, she worked in the Bay Area for nine years as a lead designer with advertising and design agencies. Jane has managed public outreach and advertising campaigns for both the private and public sectors — producing diverse publications in English and Spanish. She recently received the highest industry recognition by winning two Addy awards for designs submitted with an associate agency's advertising campaigns. Jane communicates effectively with clients to quickly assess complex projects — then blends her business acumen with innovative creativity to deliver targeted results. She is an active member of the Communication Arts Association and Admark Advertising Association.

Anita Johansen
Systems Manager & Copywriter-Editor

Anita is a dynamic communicator and has been developing business systems and writing educational, marketing and technical material for more than twenty years. She designed the Stamp of Appproval™ business system in 1995 as an integrated project management tool to track client orders, archive artwork and manage remote networking for the Precision Design team. This system has enabled Precision Design to organize large volumes of work from diverse clients, meet timelines and maintain quality control. Anita has also served the team as a writer and editor for public outreach campaigns, marketing literature and technical manuals.

Margaret Bowles
Graphic Designer

Following an early career in ballet, Margaret redirected her disciplined creativity into graphic design 12 years ago, after studying at the prestigious California College of Arts & Crafts. As a multi-faceted artist, Margaret is adept at computer illustration, website development and the intricacies of catalogue production. As a member of the Precision Design team, Margaret has contributed her talents to public outreach projects for several Bay area oganizations. Margaret exhibits a contagious positive attitude with customers, co-workers and associates who rely on her creative input, quality work and follow-through style.

Judy Smith
Production Artist and Proofreader

Following a successful career in legal services, Judy Smith joined the Precision Design team three years ago as a proofreader and production artist. She also supports the team with superior office management skills, is both PC and Mac literate and serves as a cross-platform liaison to the team. Judy brings an eagle eye for consistency and clarity along with high energy, enthusiasm and conscientiousness to every step of every project.

Eva Cohen
Web Designer

Eva holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and a Masters Degree in Graphic Design from the Chicago Institute of Art. She teaches Adobe Photoshop Design at Diablo Valley College. Eva is our lead web designer, with a wealth of experience in developing sites for industry, business-to-business and retail.

Duber Mayer
Spanish Translator

Duber holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Washington State University. She translates and edits course materials for Portland Community College, Mesa College and several other educational institutions. Her scope includes web content and text books in the field of health and education. Duber is a native Spanish speaker, with a bilingual background in medical and chemical terminology and is Precision Design's senior translator.
